Red Deer, Alberta is home to a vibrant arts and culture scene that truly comes alive on First Fridays. On the first Friday of each month, the downtown core sparkles with an array of performance venues, readings, poetry slams, art exhibits, gallery tours, bubbly and nibbles. This Friday, February 1, I’m delighted to join the extraordinary poet Kimmy Beach for a reading about love in its various guises, presented at the Kiwanis Gallery in the Red Deer Public Library.
