Hooray for book clubs!

With so many great titles out there, I’m honoured that book clubs are adding The Shore Girl to their reading lists this year. And I’m thrilled to be invited to join in on these discussions. It’s a whole new experience to have my book sitting at the centre of the table, and I’m dying to learn what works and what doesn’t for readers, what characters they’re drawn to, what bits they find convincing, compelling, or irritating. It will be fun to step inside the story alongside others and hang out for a while.

The Shore Girl is off to Calgary next week for our first two fabulous book club meetings. I’d be delighted to attend your book club too, either virtually or in person.
