No Good Asking
Mar 13, 2018

I’ve just received my Advance Reading Copy of No Good Asking. After the long, long process of storyboarding, writing, editing, pitching, and designing, I can now hold my new book in my hands. What a beautiful cover! What a glorious feeling!
No Good Asking hits bookshelves in early October and there’s so much still to do. This is the best part of writers’ world. This fall we’ll have a book launch bash in my home town of Lacombe, and parties in Edmonton, Red Deer, Calgary, and towns along the way. I’ve been invited to stop in at many of the book clubs I visited with The Shore Girl and hope to meet with many new groups too.
No Good Asking is about a struggling family that reluctantly agrees to take in a young girl until she can find a new home after the Christmas holidays. I can’t wait to share this story with readers and find out their reactions to the Nylands and Hannah.
Stay tuned.
